Meet Brittney Michelle, Founder of Illuminated Glow
Hey ya’ll, I am Brittney Michelle, a licensed cosmetologist for almost 25 years, and the blessed founder of Illuminated Glow, LLC, where beauty, wellness, and self- love meet. Honored to be a native Houstonian, I was raised in a family of beautiful women who owned and managed large salons throughout the Houston area. This sparked my deep commitment to making others feel valued, confident, and cared for. Located immediately North of Downtown Houston, Illuminated Glow is not just a business-its my passion in action.
Before diving back into the beauty and wellness world professionally, after over a decade of exploring other ventures, I served in the U.S. Army. There, I learned the importance of discipline, hard work, and service-values that continue to guide me in every aspect of my life. I later honed my leadership and customer service skills in administration, including at Baylor College of Medicine, but my heart always pulled me toward a different path. I decided to use those skills while working in a med-spa for a short time, as I was continuing to earn my certifications for the current, more advanced modalities in skincare. The belief that health is wealth, paired with my God-gifted calling for serving others, inspired me to create Illuminated Glow in 2021. I understand how frustrating it can be when we cannot seem to reach our wellness and beauty goals. At Illuminated Glow, I've dedicated myself to assisting people to feel their best, inside and out. In a short time, I've had the privilege of assisting countless clients achieve their wellness and beauty aspirations with consistent, satisfying results for those I serve. At Illuminated Glow, I offer advanced treatments such as facials, for both women and men, specializing in beard facials, corrective skincare, anti-aging, and body sculpting, but my true focus is always on serving with compassion. My mission is to create a space where you feel empowered, cared for, and inspired to embrace your best authentic self.
